DIY Clutch Purse Inspiration and Tutorials
Do you love clutch purses? I've made all types of clutch purses in different sizes, shapes, colors to organize stuff in my craft area and also to keep my massive makeup collection under control.
I ran into the SweetyHigh blog while surfing the internet and found that Shawna must love clutch purses as much as I do. She wrote a blog post on clutch purse tutorials she has found through her travels on the internet.

Denim Jeans Mini Purse
What a cute little mini purse or belt pouch made from denim jeans legs!
Click on the link at the end of this post to go to the tutorial, which can be used as a guide. I love the techniques used in the construction of the purse.
The purse itself can be made fancier by using fabric embellishments, jewelry and buttons.
Let your imagination be your guide :)

French Mood Purse
The fabric embellishment on this "French Mood" purse is so beautiful, I had to feature it for future inspiration for myself and other sewers who love to create new fabric from scraps and those who love to create unique purses.
The link to the original article does not include a tutorial, just lots of inspiration through photos.

DIY Jeweled Clear Clutch
How cute is this blingy clutch?? I love it!!
When I first saw this jeweled beauty, I thought that it would make a very cute case for a laptop, notebook, Kindle, etc. Seems like it would be easy to change the pattern in Naoko Asano's tutorial.
I love bling so much and especially love the jeweled piece!

Crocheted Denim Rag Bag
I love the idea of crocheting strips of denim, not only for this project, but for so many other projects.
Back in the day when I had a boutique, I would barter merchandise with my customers for their old jeans because of their versatility. Being the pack rat that I am, I still have tubs and tubs of denim in my storage room waiting for me to be creative again. So I am always looking for cool and unusual projects to keep in mind for the future when I finally get my craft room organized.
My idea would be to make the strips of denim crocheted into "fabric" so they are ready for future projects.
Several projects come to mind . . . rugs, pillows, applique for clothing, fabric for a jacket, blankets, hats . . . as well as purses . . . I could continue thinking and coming up with more and more projects!
Click here for the tutorial to make the purse or get the technique for how to crochet the denim strips together.

T-Shirt Bag
Don't we all have an over-abundance of T-shirts?
Refashion them!
There are bags and boxes of T-shirts hanging around
the house, taking up space, that have been waiting
for a project. They were destined for a memory quit,
but I really love these bags made out of T-shirts.

Pleated Tote
Can a woman have too many purses or totes?
I don't think so!
Create your own tote wardrobe to match your
outfits . . . I also love the possibilities for using
the tote for home organizing, like storing socks.
How about an awesome beach bag?
