    Natural DIY Air Fresheners

Love this!! We are so lucky to live on what used to be a citrus grove and have various fruiting citrus trees, so the air fresheners in the photo are a relatively free DIY project for us.

    DIY Makeup Remover Wipes

These makeup remover wipes sound wonderful.

I love the idea of tweaking my own blend and having control of what ingredients go in there.

Click here for the tutorial at Heather's Treasure.

I found the oil Heather used at the Walmart website.

    DIY Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub

    DIY The Conversation Bag

Love this bag . . . the design itself, not the fabric design.  Making this bag solid would be much easier anyway.

    DIY Lip Gloss Recipes

Love the possibilities of making my own lip gloss.  Some of these recipes utilize an existing tube of lipstick in the recipe.  Love the idea of recycling lipstick and giving it new life!

In the past when my favorite lipstick shade was no longer available and I would scrape out all of the lipstick left in the tube, smash it up and add clear lip gloss.   I'll try anything for a little more of a favorite!

    DIY Woven Jeans Coaster

I love this idea, not only for this project, but as a way to make your own fabric for other projects (such as purses).

This project uses jeans seams that you probably have left over in your scrap stash from other denim jeans projects.  How cool is this concept?

    DIY Exfoliating Sugar Scrub Cubes

Sugar scrubs are awesome, but a bit messy for the shower.  Jillee, from One Good Thing, has come up with a recipe for a pre-measured cube.

    DIY Exfoliating Loofah Soap

My latest obsession is artisan soap.  I've already tried several sellers on Etsy and still haven't found one that is fragrant enough . . . happy with everything else and will not be going back to using commercial soap.  What really made me happy was an all-in-one soap that I can also use as a shampoo.  No more frizzies!   Now I'm spoiled!

I've been wanting to try out the exfoliating loofah soaps and I've also wondered about making my own soap.  The cost for the supplies is a little more as purchasing three bars of artisan soap.  I would say it is worth a try!

I found this recipe on one of my favorite blogs, One Good Thing by Jillee, which always has practical and easy DIY projects.  Click here for the tutorial.  Check out her website for more "good things" . . . you won't be sorry!
