Repurposing inspiration!

Today I was in the mood for repurposing inspiration!

As The Captain and I go through boxes of my old stuff in an attempt to reorganize and redecorate our house in a way that reflects both of our personalities, a trip to a few DIY/crafty linky parties was in order.  

What I found were more than a handful of ideas for items that are just sitting around boxes and the storage room just waiting to be turned into something fabulous.  I can't wait to start putting plans together and into action!

Tamara of Etcetorize has cleverly repurposed a candle holder to organize and display her jewelry treasures.

I am inspired by the way she has put everything together! As a buyer/seller of vintage costume jewelry, my personal stash of treasures is massive and inneed of organization.  Since I love being surrounded by my "stuff", I also
want it displayed in a unique and funky style.  I found it!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Hope everyone is having an awesome day!

I'm taking the day off from my usual blog hopping to catch up on comments, follow everyone following me and enter new giveaways.  There will be no Gina's Wordless Wednesday this week, but it will be back next Wednesday!

It has been my week to win awards!  There are three of them that I recall off the top of my head and I will be responding to them as soon as I determine who I will be turning over my awards to.  Thank you so much for the awards!!

There are so many projects I'm working on!  

The Captain and I are collaborating on a new blog that will focus on technology with articles on how to do a lot of those little things that make our time on the internet and blogging fun.  It will be fun and informative!  As soon as I get my hard drive situation under control, I will be offering freebie graphics on that blog . . . playing with graphics is one of my favorite things to do on the computer!

My website has been neglected lately . . . my plan is to integrate my blogs with the website.  Stop by and check it out . . .

Hard drive failures . . . they happen.

My external drive is all but dead and I have been busy trying to save what I can.  It already wiped out all of my main graphics files.  Hopefully The Captain will be able to work his magic and find them for me after I have transferred all of my music files.  What a hassle!!

Lesson to learn . . . 

BACK UP YOUR IMPORTANT FILES!

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me and still, I haven't learned.  It is one of those things that you think "it won't happen to me . . . not again."  Yes it does!  It is the nature of computer hardware. ugggghhh!!

I'm irritated because there are many projects and I'm working on and I have to spend my time with this stuff.  This explains why I'm so behind on everything that I really enjoy doing . . . like writing blog posts for all of my blogs.

Anyway . . . Happy Tuesday!!
