Stunning Mixed Patterns ~ Day Bed Makeover

The sharp contrast of the mixed patterns is what caught my eye.  I don't own a day bed, but if I did, I would love to make it over like Judy did at 20 North Ora.

My intention with this post is to save this inspiring pattern combination for future projects . . . red, white and black is my favorite color combination!

DIY Shag Rag Rug

A simple yet tedious project with gorgeous results!  I think it would be worth the time and effort put into it.

This is one of those DIY projects I love that can utilize recycled items.  As usual, my thoughts immediate go to making one of these rugs out of denim. Also, I have seen curtains made out of open weave fabric that would work as the base.

This project is not just for the holidays and not just for new fabric.

Home office desk idea

It is amazing at what you can do with a small space
 and a little imagination.

The desk and shelves don't look very deep, but seems to be just enough

 to pack a lot of function in a small space.

I love this idea . . . a great project for a DIYer!

Painting Your Home DIY

One of my greatest passions is painting . . . all kinds of painting, using a variety of mediums.  If I could comfortably get up on a ladder for extended periods of time and not so afraid of heights, I would make my living as a decorative painter . . .


There is nothing like changing the colors on the walls to make an instant change to a room without a huge investment.
