Antique Wardrobe Makeover

"Giving new life to old furniture is one of my favorite kinds of DIY projects—especially when the piece has as much charm and character as this antique wardrobe. With its classic lines and sturdy build, it just needed a little TLC (and a lot of paint!) to shine again. If you love transforming thrifted treasures or family heirlooms, this makeover will inspire you to look at vintage furniture with fresh eyes."  Comment from My Repurposed Life

Excellent article with detailed step by step progress of a beautiful makeover.  Love the decoupage knobs!!

DIY Postage Stamp Table Top

At first glance, you would never imagine the mosaic-like table top is completely covered with vintage stamps.  How cool is that?

The possibilities are endless when it comes to DIY tables.  All you need is an interesting stand and a piece of wood for the table top.  The use of vintage stamps in this project is gorgeous!

This beautiful project comes from the blog Gardening Nirvana.

Stunning Mixed Patterns ~ Day Bed Makeover

The sharp contrast of the mixed patterns is what caught my eye.  I don't own a day bed, but if I did, I would love to make it over like Judy did at 20 North Ora.

My intention with this post is to save this inspiring pattern combination for future projects . . . red, white and black is my favorite color combination!

DIY Storage Ottoman Inspiration and Tutorial

What a clever idea!  Monica was inspired by another DIY blogger to make a storage ottoman made of crates and added her creative touches to the project.  This awesome ottoman is the result.  I'm impressed and I want one!

I can imagine this cute storage ottoman on wheels in my living room with extra seating and little nooks and crannies for those things you like to have handy, but out of the way.  Love it!

Thank you Monica for this awesome project and a very lovely blog!  I have added a button linking to her blog in my Favorites DIY/Crafty Blogs page for future reference.
