How to Sew a Fabric Basket Tote

"This large purse pattern has a bound top edge that matches the handles (if you want), and it is nice and roomy on the inside. The center panel is quilted, and there is piping that separates the middle from the sides. Don’t leave off the piping. It adds a professional touch and hides mistakes, I promise!"  Comment from Sew Can She

If I was a tote selling retailer, this is the one I would make to sell.  It is perfect!  And the pattern is free!

"This tote features a button and loop closure, and D-rings with swivel snap clips to attach the strap. If you want, you could skip the clips and sew your straps directly to the D-rings."  Comment from SewCanShe.com

This bag is perfect . . . I love it!!  Check out this free pattern.

DIY Scrapyard Tote

"Sew a beautiful bag that’s just the right size to be a purse or handbag. This is a great project for using up scraps that you have left over from quilts or other bags, or you can use a charm pack (which is precut bundle of 40 5’’ squares)."  Comment from SewCanShe.com

Cute totebag and great to use up your fabric scraps!  Everyone can either use a totebag or need a gift for a friend.
