Painted Rainbow Bridge Garden Bench

"This is a project I actually started last Fall after losing our Staffordshire Pit Bull, Shiloh. He was a rescue dog that we got from a local shelter just a few months after I lost my dad and right after we lost Buster, another rescue dog. Six weeks before we got Shiloh, I left a toxic work environment that left me emotionally bruised and battered. I was mourning my dad and Buster, and I guess God knew I needed an energy-filled, fur-covered distraction."

Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted"

Comment from Donna of Modern On Monticello

Donna touched my heart with her story about Shiloh and Buster and the rainbow bridge project dedicated to them.  I'm still grieving over the loss of my sweet furbaby Kiki and my husband, The Captain.  The feelings seem to never go away and I know they never will.

It occurs to me that a project of this type makes so much sense and she has inspired me to make some type of rainbow bridge project.  Paint on a wooden fence or a planter.

Thank you Donna for the inspiration . . . blessings, love and hugs to you and your family.  I will pray for your peace as I pray for mine too.
